Asher Laub‘s insight:

1-2 tablespoons/day of ghee (found in multiple studies) does not increase risk of cardiovascular disease.  Keep your intake w/ in that range daily and your health will improve assuming a balance diet. Advantage of butter over ghee is vit k2. Advantage of ghee over butter are more MCFAs and SCFAs (medium/short chain fatty acids). Butter is harder to digest as it has more LCFAs (long chain fatty acids).

More than a decade ago, the Quarterly Journal of Medicine published a review entitled: “Vegetarian Diet: Panacea for modern lifestyle…

Asher Laub‘s insight:

Candidiasis blogs that say to stay away from beans/peas may be a bit suspect. They provide prebiotics that may counter candida problems. Flatulence btw reduces over 8months and reduces long-term gut problems…worth the investment of a few gassy days on beans. Peas are lower flatulence risk but all in all much better options than grains…higher ORAC antioxidant index and guaranteed to lower triglycerides improve HbA1C for those concerned w/ blood sugar (hypoglycemia, diabetes etc..). Beans also stabilized blood pressure, hormone & energy levels. Eat your beans every day! Most of my step-down-unit patients perhaps wouldn’t be there if they did.

The purpose of this website is to help individuals know how to heal themselves through nutrition. I have worked for many years with people who are hurting. It grieves me to see the suffering that people go through. So much of the suffering is needless. The vast majority of the health problems that we face are unnecessary and can be resolved with little to no invasive procedures. What the average person lacks is knowledge when it comes to the health of the body, especially in using nutrition to achieve and maintain that health. It is this lack of knowledge that brings fear and poor decision-making when we are faced with a health problem. On this website, I will bring to you knowledge. I present it in a format that is easily understood and interesting—at least I think it’s interesting! The information that you find here is backed by my many years of clinical experience as well as scientific data.

Asher Laub‘s insight:

Simple solution to morning sickness. Eat your beans! Follow these basic protocols. No drugs, no supplements…just nutritional advice which can solve many more medical problems than we might think. Nausea essentially is produced as a result of HCG hormone releasing bile (needed to break down fatty acids). The recycling of bile still containing debris that hasn’t been expelled by the liver causes that nausea.  Beans will help excrete the bile w/ debris from the body solving the nausea.
